Premier Manager 08 Announced

Sure to please fans of the series, Zoo announced today that the latest installment in the popular Premier Manager franchise will be coming to the Playstation 2 and PC from the 17th of August this year.

As the thirteenth series outing (only unlucky for those that aren’t footy fans we’re sure!), Premier Manage 08 promises to deliver “a host of improvements over previous versions such as all new character and facilities systems and a new set of analytical tools.”

For a franchise that is so heavily reliant on menus, 08 will feature a completely refreshed user interface, which aims to make the game the most accessible management title on the market.

Adam Prichard, Commercial Director at ZOO Digital Publishing commented:

“Premier Manager is a strong brand with an undoubted tradition and pedigree. We fully expect next season’s release to be a great success for us.

We will be releasing Premier Manager 08 the day before the Premiership kicks off next season which gives us a good advantage in the market as it gets us on the shelf at an optimum time.

The great thing about PM is that it is so user-friendly and offers a more ‘pick up and play’ experience than many of the other management games that are available. It provides an assessable entry point into management simulation for gamers of all ages and experience.”

Of course the player database will be updated to include the latest adjustment up to and including the summer 2007 period. As mentioned previously, Premier Manager 08 will be available this August for the PC and the Playstation 2.
